Who Needs the ISE II (B2) SELT?
You must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) at CEFR Level B2 in all four skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening) if you are applying for:

Minister of Religion visa (T2)

Innovator visa
-
Start-up visa
-
Student visa (note: UKVI requires only B1, but some institutions may require B2. Check with your sponsor)
Test Structure
ISE II is made up of two separate modules:

Reading & Writing Module
-
Duration: 2 hours
-
Assesses your ability to read and write in academic and professional contexts

Speaking & Listening Module
-
Duration: 20 minutes
-
Conducted using a Trinity tablet device, supported by a personal steward

Both modules must be taken on the same day at an official UK Trinity SELT Centre. You must pass both parts to be awarded the ISE II (B2) qualification.

What to Bring to the Test

Proof of Identity (ID): You must bring valid ID to the SELT test centre. See Trinity’s Candidate ID Policy for full details.
